The plough Inn. A 13th century inn, situated in the heart of the kentish countryside in the village of Norton, Nr Faversham. Surrounded by farmland, hopfields and orchards, this small public house is an ideal spot for an afternoon or early evenings drive.

A large country garden awaits in hot summer months, blazing log fires feature during those cold dark winters.

Fresh food is prepared daily by our talented chef using supplies from the local farms and dairies. Fish is featured on our menu, being obtained from the nearby fishermen in Whitstable. Menu's change on a seasonal basis.

Our brewer is Shepherd Neame, with traditional award winning cask ales, lagers and an extensive wine menu.

On the first Wednesday of each month there is a Jazz night. Local players perform on a variety of instruments so feel free to come and listen or even join in. New players or singers are always welcome.

Manager, Dave George ensures that all have a great time in his cosy pub!

We have altered the pub extensively over the last 10 years and now it comprises a large bar area and three separate restaurant area’s (with a total seating capacity of 120) We are able to cater, not only for our restaurant trade but also for small christenings, weddings, funerals etc, all of the areas can be closed off for private use if required.

(** is the above info valid for this pub?)

Our main brewer is Shepherd Neame. Probably our best selling beer is MasterBrew Cask Ale followed by Shep's brand leader, Spitfire. Throughout the year they produce many seasonal cask ales which we stock as and when. Our wine list features popular wines from around the world, some 35 reds and 42 whites along with champagnes and vintage ports.
