The plough Inn. A 13th century inn, situated in the heart of the kentish countryside in the village of Norton, Nr Faversham. Surrounded by farmland, hopfields and orchards, this small public house is an ideal spot for an afternoon or early evenings drive.

A large country garden awaits in hot summer months, blazing log fires feature during those cold dark winters.

Fresh food is prepared daily by our talented chef using supplies from the local farms and dairies. Fish is featured on our menu, being obtained from the nearby fishermen in Whitstable. Menu's change on a seasonal basis.

Our brewer is Shepherd Neame, with traditional award winning cask ales, lagers and an extensive wine menu.

On the first Wednesday of each month there is a Jazz night. Local players perform on a variety of instruments so feel free to come and listen or even join in. New players or singers are always welcome.

Our public house is easy to find.

How to find us:

We are situated in the village of Norton, which is Just off of the A2 bewteen Sittingbourne and Faversham. If coming from Sittingbourne, continue on through Teynham and approximately 1.5 miles out of Teynham there is a right turn ‘Lewson Street’. Follow this road and you will come to a village square where the pub is situated.
